You didn't try filling the silencer ports did you?
I've heard if those aren't done perfect they can come off and get into the engine.

^^Yup.
If it doesn't turn over it sounds internal...what were you doing when it happened?
pick up a shortblock out of a GT, slap a cam in it while its out, and slap the blower on it..and BAM! you have a stout DD.
if the blower locked up....the belt would squeel as the motor would still be turning over.
If he heard a big pop.... my "guess" is timing chain problems........
u prolly had low oil or something, not enough oil on the cylinder and locking your piston in place, Ive done that before with a different car. As it was said, pull the passenger wheel off and try cranking it over by hand. Get a L36 block, its soo much better for s/c, and they're cheap
I highly doubt it has anything to do with the s/c.
Umm.... where did all the diag go? Just heard a noise and now pulling the motor? Im confused...
Get that pan off joe! Doesnt matter how u go about it but thats the first thing u really need to do. or take your oil filter off an cut it open. it its full of grey an shiny stuff u have big problems.
yeah guys i know i took the belt off and the pulley it freely spins so its not gen 3 related =[ i was hoping so lol but yeah its in the lower half on the block im sure. we will know tonight guys and at around 11 ill update all of you thanks for all your concerns and possible solutions. all is appreciated. but i am wondering if i that the lower mount out to get the rest of the pan bolts out how the hell do i keep the engine from not falling? ha
how do you do a compression test when it doesnt crank over?
watch it be a flexplate broke
kk good point manually crank it duh! we will check tonight thanks man
i do too seriously please dont joke even though i did get a laugh from reading that ha this blows ha
joe in order to take that mount out you need an engine hoist or some other means to lift the engine up so that u can unbolt the mount an get it out of the way. i ended up taking the whole mount off. the rubber part and the metal bracket. the brackets a B**** ur gonna need to squeeze a 15mm wrench in there. theres 5 bolts that hold it on. when i went back together with it i intentionally left the 5th bolt out because its in a terrible spot an 1 bolt missing from that brackets not gonna make a diff.
yeah i figured i need something to keep the engine up once i take the mount out thanks man
