Stock for stock - I'll argue with ANYONE that for performance per dollar return - the GTP is damn near impossible to beat - the SRT4 comes to mind as a possibility, though. Couple that with a great look, features found only on (some) Vettes and Cadillac's (and on NONE of those "cars" you listed) - and you can keep any one of those ****ing tin cans from the orient. Give me the same amount of money that any one of those cost - in that current form - and I will build you 2 GTP"s that will suck the ****ing paint off as they go by them. That's a guarantee.

I definatly agree with this. A GTP is a very good value, especially with how there priced nowadays. I'm sure i'll always have my GTP, its realable, pretty quick, and is about one of the best looking cars on the road to this day IMO. All these AccordS, Maximas, whatever of the era don't make a pipple on a Grand Prixs ass as far as looks go.

Very good informative thread, I agree with everything you had to say Swash. Our minds think alike as far as cars go and whats rice and whats not. I respect real import tuners, not ricers. I used to hang out with a couple Supra guys myself (one had around 800 HP, the other with a little over 1,000 HP), I respected them for what they were but not my taste, i'd never own one.

I'm like Swash, If I want a toy, it'll be something American Muscle because that were my taste is...
