i ran a 2.039 60' on street tires
mods: 3.25, exhaust front to back, stage 3 intercooler, ported blower, FWI, Alt rewire, fuel pump rewire.....and oh yeah i took oput the drivers side headlight when i was there....lol
hm..seems to me if you were to launch the car harder and get into the sub 2.0 60' area then youd be looking at LOW 13s.
seems to me like you also need to look into some valvetrain mods (cam/rockers).![]()
Get a smaller pulley and injectors...I be willing to bet you can run a 2.6 or 2.8" with a good tune.
i think definitely do rockers, bigger injectors drop to a 2.8" pulley and tune the thing. i thikn you could get high 12's
man i would love to to do rockers and injectors.....but money is tight right now i found a set of slicks cheap and thats all i got for now.....im goin to pop the quetion to the girlfriend in a few monthes so i have to save my cash

Are you still on manifolds or do you have headers? What kinda street tires are you running? Any track prep done (gutting, race gas, etc)?
You have a good running car, slicks should get you where you want, becareful with them though, the stock tranny doesn't like slicks very much......
yep still on manifolds.....i ported them myself....ive got goodyear assurance tires and when i went to the track i took the spare tire out of the trunk .....thats all the prep
