I immediately thought of a set of Strombergs an/or Hillborn injectors. New version of an old technology. It's got 420bhp, at 8400 rpm, out of, 244 cubic inches, with a top speed of 155mph. Thats the kinda Pile, i wish i had under my hood!

You could get ITB's for the Buick V6 straigth from GM back in the day. I'm not sure if it's an LD5 that they were on, but I know they made over 400whp back in the 80's N/A on that 3.8L. IIRC it was for a road racing car.

    It's in this book :

Amazon.ca: How to Hotrod Your Buick V6: Books: Ed Sessions Ron

A lot 4cyl gusy use GSX-R Throttle bodies for their ITB set up. They're CRAZY for throttle response and .. well you have so much more area to get air in. EVERY fast N/A Honda runs ITB's.

I'm thinking that BMW v8 is pretty impressive... 414 hp @ 8,300 rpm and 295ft-lbf @ 3,900 rpm. It is only a 4.0L though. And it is N/A. It's also lighter than the I6. But, really in all honesty is it really that impressive for the costs ?

The new GM Directed injected 3.6 V6 is making 302hp@6,300rpm and 272ft-lbf @ 5200 rpm.

ITB's larger cams for more revs and a better balance that 3.6 could easily make 360-380hp @ 8,000 rpm.

Apparently the BMW V8 is very well balanced with where the power is etc..etc.. and on the track it's not that much better than the previous I6 but street driving is much much better.

PS. IS it jsut me or does that thing look like a nightmare to work on !!
