    alright, so i start softball next week! and i bought a new glove a few weeks ago 4 this year! i've been opening and closing it everyday. and have a softball rubber banded in it at all times! anybody have any good tips i can do to break it in more?

    you mean other than treating it with a leather conditioner?

    Condition it then park your car tire on it all night. The next night, angle the glove differently (both open & closed) and park on it again. Hell, do it everynight.

    they make this spray, i forget what its called but you acyually put it on the glove and bake it in the oven... works well

    That is exactly the stuff I was going to suggest in fact I went to find the can but I must have used it all last summer.
    I bought it at Dick's it looks like shaving cream and works good I don't remember the name of it either.

    yeah, probably should just google it. Dont back over it with your car, it cracks the leather

    When I played me and my dad used to bake it in the oven w that spray stuff treat it and back over it with the truck and leave a softball in it over night... the whole 9 yards

    Ive always done the over method with mine using the spray you can buy at dicks. Ive gotta go buy a new glove too, mine is warn out and i can feel every ball i catch, no padding left in the fingers or palm.
