I knew it can alarm for some but not all, but in any case I still think that the App is better in the sense it is more versatile, and can easily log a lot longer than 60 seconds. I have gone on 6 hour drives logging the entire way. It really comes down to personal preference. I don't like a mountain of gauges.
As far as cheap Ebay crap don't buy those buy the BAFX they actually stand behind the product, and it's a total cost of $30 verses whatever the Aeroforce is.
I bought one off eBay back in 2010 and its still working just fine.
Torque has the benefit of being easily transferred to other vehicles.
I do know that Torque does not work with certain VWs, idk if the Aeroforce does or not.
Shouldn't that be a VW, Eric? Or, have we moved on to 3800 sealing issues....
Ah. Makes perfect sense!
On a side note (that's relevant to the thread, lol) what is the best bluetooth OBD2 to get to use with Torque? I've seen a lot of different ones in a wide range of prices, didn't want to get a crappy one that'll break in a day, or overspend, lol.
so i go and dump 200 some odd dollars on a friggin aeroforce and i could have just used a $30 device and a cellphone the whole time? I'd be livid if i weren't so stuffed from eating pizza.
Sweet, that was the one I was looking at getting. All these self-gifts for Christmas, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. lol
Oh bah dee two bîtches
Screw it, I'm ordering that, it's $5!
