Jake had the same encounter a few months ago in his Mustang and ended up curbing it hard, breaking a Bullitt and bending an axle. I might have centered the light pole had she clipped me. At least I can honk now, when I have that reflex.

im hopping your talking about jake from your work and not about jake from state farm. Either way its ****ty when people cant look were they are going i bet she was busy with Pokémon go
We called him State farm for months when he started, thanks for reminding me! I have several names for him now, lol. But yeah, people should... well both lanes can go left there, only right lane can go straight ahead. That happens a LOT, and the thing is not clearly marked. You could fill a bushel basket with smashed car parts from that intersection. My handicap is crap like that makes me so dadgum angry now and I have to eat it.
Mmm, juices. Still waiting for the steak. I like em well done but dang... that taters gettin cold.
Had 5 juicy steaks that were cooked up on Tuesday and the extra became thin sliced steak to go on salad for lunches.
There is an area up here that I swear the road crew laughed as they were painting the lines and doing signage. Personally I don't see how a fork in a road can be so difficult.
I believe it's 5-6 contradicting signs and then the lines on the road simply put each lane to one side of the fork.
did thread totally inspired me to start cleaning up my 73 grand prix, I know the 69 is a little different then my 73 but much of the lines and shape is the same.
I was just gonna slap a half ass paint job on it and sell the car but this thread as inspired me to make my car pretty. I love how you painted the chrome bumpers the same color as the car, I was just gonna plasti-dip the chrome but now I think I am just gonna paint the chrome the same color as the car.
there is a couple of spots on the body that need work but over all the car is solid. The wheel wells are nice and the panels around the wheel wells look great.
My problem is that every time I get a old car, I want to get something else and never really appreciate what I have and over the years I have had some beautiful muscle cars.
So thanks for the inspiration. I am going to start working on my car this week and try to start spraying with in the next few weeks.
here is what she looks like right now

Damn I like that car. I'm actually a big fan of the '73 look. Did I put pics of my blue '75 in here someplace?
Painted bumpers on a dark blue 73... thats speakin my language, man. I can coach if needed. The '73 bumpers are what makes it cooler than the later ones. That and the room for dual exhaust.
Glad you found inspiration here. Lets see more of the car. J or SJ? Swivel buckets? Ratchet shifter? Enjoy your project!
I did say to him: Take six grand and try to build one. Also said I'd start listening at 8K. He has a 96 T/A taking too long to build and works for AAA 7 days a week so wants a done one and it caught his eye. But the neigh lady told him it was for sale and I wanted three grand.
Back in about 2010 I briefly had it on CL and put up a sign. It never went lower than $3,500 especially on the sign. She lost track of time I guess, lol. She's a decent neigh though, texted me to let me know I left parks on the other night. She probably does wish I'd get rid of it. Never complains about exhaust but she did ask me once why my car's fan kicks on after I go in the house... because other cars don't do that. Lol.
Watch 69 GP in HD with a little better sound than that last dash cam. Not worth watching without 1080P and speakers. Yes I also posted this in the daily thread but I wanted it here too.

Unbelievable! I just fixed a tire at home and thats a major revalation for this old man. Wow, having an air compressor rocks.
Had an every other day low tire on the GTP's LF. It was one of the wheels off the 40th and has a light scuff where the leak was. But since that wreck, I had new tires put on. Well, I reckon they left some tree bark or something in the bead because thats what it looked like stuck in there. Just a tiny bit. Two tries cleaning it out with a pocket screwdriver and blowing the chunxx out got it to seal so woot. Fixed my own tire!
I had a revelation when I was able to fix a rim leak at home too lol. I used the weight of the car to pop the bead off the rim and cleaned the corrosion off.. Discount tire couldn't fix it, they tried twice. Fail.
