Well I didn't want to go through the week bumming about that odd wheel so I grabbed a tire from my garage and put it on. So, fixed for now. Its a HydroEdge with lots of tread but kinda old. Good thing I did. The spare was one of those but even older and now its all crackly in the tread. So I'll keep an eye on this one I put on and go from there. Might get a pair of RT43s later but in less of a rush now. The tire I had mounted today used to be on the other side, though. So I had to scrub it and the rest of the car. Last wash job was mega bird bombed but now it looks like I like it to again-

Since Christmas I put 6K miles on the GTP and 1K on the '69. Just making a note because this thread is like an online service log for my heaps.
Yikes..they are going to die of old age before they get used up.
I've put 14k miles on my 02 gt in 4 years. So don't worry junk youre doing fine lol. I did get another one but I've still been primarily driving the 02

Heck thats a little more than average Americans just on the GTP alone. Plus theres the GT. I just sip on the big un though. Was kinda just checking to be sure they are insured correctly and they are.:)
Maintainence log, earthdate May 29, 2016: Cleaned up the pulleys and stuck new V-belts on the big GP today. Ah, silence!
Went out and turned the key in the Grape one just now and heard *click*...silence. She wanted the battery terminals cleaned with 100 grit so I obliged. Thats one thing about top posts- the fit of the terminals is usually less than optimal, with parts store parts.
Yesterday I decided the console from the '72 was taking up too much garage space so I bombed it and stuck it in the '69. The lame-suck factor of the interior is unaffected but now I have two ashtrays and gloveboxes lol.

Double post, blaming it on ancient mouse.
Update / log:
I'm 50 now. Suck it.
New front hubs and boost bypass solenoid for the GTP since last post. Beat on it for 300 miles yesterday with it 95 and muggy out, and with the inside temp set on 73. It never got close to 210 degrees, what a climber!

I have the same pics of my GT from a bunch of years ago. Thats the http://www.talimenascenicdrive.com/
Almost forgot... GTP got parking upgrades on both ends of town. Up north, the last spot of gravel she has to touch got paved-

I parked like that because theres room, and it shades the seat with the roof in the afternoon. Plus thats the view from my stall and I like to look at it lol.
Down on my end of town, I spent a couple days installing a new insulated garage door in place of the wooden one with windows that was rotted along the bottom. Did it by myself and that was a PITA.

It's just a number when you get as old as Scott, Matt and I. I'm not 50 FWIW though.
I did two of those doors in a day by myself, I know exactly how much fun you had. Only part I got some help with was measuring corner to corner and I could have done that alone...... a friend happened to be passing by, so I got help.
Taking down the old door and keeping the buzz up took most of the time, lol.
Kegerator is in the basement... I totally know about trouble with the buzz.
They are still after me. This intersection is designed for death-

good thing you weren't in his blind spot. there is and intersection like that near me and i avoid it. People behind the wheel are just dumb
