So I wasn't please with the height in the front, so I bought the Canuck motorsports 2.5/1.5 spring package. I replaced the fronts only, so technically, my springs are 2.5/1.7, which is a nice height. It's a subtle rake, and I'm pleased.

I also didn't like how my new TSW wheels had 15mm less offset, so they weren't flush like my GT500's. I bought 1/2" spacers for more poke, but that required longer studs to be installed as well.

All in all, it was a pretty big project, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I did it all myself in the garage.

Getting started. New springs in the front:

    Pulling the new studs in:

You can see the longer stud length here. PN: 610-323.

    Here's the spacers. PN: 44121.

Overall, I gained only 1lb per corner with these. I was hoping it wouldn't be too much, because I lost ~7lbs per corner by dropping the GT500's.

    Here's how it looks now:

    I like those wheels(Nurburgring?) better.
are they 19"s and didn't they come in a lower offset?

Yep, they're Nurburgrings, and they are 19's. They have 45mm offset, and the GT500's were 30, so I was losing 15mm, or .59 of an inch. The 1/2" (.500) Spacers get me close.
I was able to run the same tires as I had on the other wheels. The Toyo's are 245/40/19 and are only 26lbs., so that was key for me.

To each his own! They don't even compare to the spyders at all though. Its pretty easy to identify (at least for me) a nice set of headlights, and the chinese crap.

Definitely fapping to this. I'm pretty sure I love this car more than any other....
2004 Comp G "The Panda"- low, e85, big brakes SOLD
2002 Trans Am- 6 speed, bolt ons or something, it's slow.
2006 Silverado- forged ls2, 4l80e, plate kit, also slow...
