Has anyone suggested lowering it?
|
Noted on the info. Getting it tuned out as well, tuner suggested that as well. Guess he used to have a cutout, rocker, nitrous GXP that made basement 12's passes. Opinion on Brian Tooley cams? Was thinking punched out 243's, dual beehives, and his stage 3 all motor grind...I value yer LS know hows, ha.
Lame, boring, guy.
I don't think so. Does someone know where to find lowering springs for a Grand Prix?
I suggest one of these Fiero idiots might have access to the hot wrench lowering method...
lollll, Fiero.
But check out the top of that last post. What's your take on this:

I've seen some good numbers from those cams, but the grind is hardly proprietary on most of them. All depends on how much deviation from a stock idle you're willing to tolerate. I say .680 lift and 110 lobe centers, let the big dawg eat. But, I haz no sense.![]()
I'd venture to say driveability doesn't bother me one bit...since...
A) It wouldn't be a daily anymore
B) It's not a manual
C) I had that ignorant Thrasher Race Cam in my GTP, and it shook everything all day, even split poly mounts in half...so a big cam doesn't bother me at all, I'd just want the supporting valvetrain to handle it. I know the tiny bore kills it on these alummy 5.3's...so maybe I just need to toss in a little spray. Who knows.
Get stall?
Up idle speed?
Problem solved?
Stall the manual car.
I love it.
With your right foot
Spray, spray the house down. Leave the stock stall, beef the trans, and roll out easy- And switch on the hose to reel in the top end ;
*noted.
Thanks, chief.
