those wheels are 6 lug and about $1300 for the set.
however, i also thought about it and i wanted to replace the brakes next year so at that point i'd be 4 hubs away from doing the swap. that makes it a little less 'wasted money' in the end.
i'm thinking about just getting something pretty normal, per say, to run through next year (5 lug) and then getting something nicer on the vehicle in 2016. i don't want to modify this car a whole lot and run through a hundred different setups like i did with my impreza.
The not modding it too much part...
I said that with...my Maxima, Saturn, Grand Prix, and current Saab.
This is why the next car will be a Lincoln MKZ, because you can't mod it.
Bullsh1t, you can mod anything. I had Fiero parts on my Iron duke Buick Century.
Both of those wheels look like something you'd instantly make fun of for someone that would have picked them.
For shame.
Nick needs 2 or 3 piece wheels to be happy, something with BBS type spoke setup.
a BBS LM style MAYBE, but if you even think that an RS would look remotely good on this car you're higher than a kite.
i have no idea what i'm going to buy for wheels. everyone is a giant wuss with their car and is on stock wheels with MAYBE lowering springs so there's about zero reference points for me to figure out what i can and cannot do. hooray for being a pioneer with the wheel and suspension ****...
You know I mean LM style...who the **** likes the RS?
meh, maybe they'll explode like the Explorer does
plot twist...the incurve IS-C5.
was told this wheel was "old stock" and if they have any left in stock i could get my hands on a full staggered set (20x9/10.5) for $1000 shipped. sweet, right? i'm still looking into the details...
comes in these two colors standard. i'm not sure if i'll have a choice based on stock. we will see.
full steam ahead.
so those incurve wheels aren't going to happen. whatever, it was worth a shot.
i have pretty well nailed down what needs to happen between now and spring (ish)...
- buy used subframe and refinish it, add in poly bushings
- buy used driveshaft, send out for poly carrier bearing replacement
- install new subframe, driveshaft, and wide wheel trailing arms
- buy coilovers, send to feal to get revalved and swift spring swap (12k F, 16k R), install
- complete and install 5 lug swap
- buy and install new wheels (avant garde m550)
i just have to decide on what i want to do with the wheels, options:
1) matte silver or dolphin grey
2) 20x9 all around or staggered 20x9/10.5
V2 wheels are cool
