but how loud was it? the borla has a non-resonated x-pipe (the stock x-pipe is a resonator), a couple resonators after the x-pipe, and then borla mufflers (obviously).

what i have now is stock everything into bullet muffles (basically don't exist) and some magnaflow tips.

thinking of stepping down my summer wheel size to the known 19x9 and 19x10 specs just to play it safe. maybe some 18s? the stock wheels are 18s...

I would get summer wheels if I had the funds. But if it was a choice between 18s and 19s I feel like 18s are redundant. Plus you'll need to get a set of winter tires for the 18s anyway. So I would go 19x9 summer 18s for winter. With a winter tread and just rotate them

i already have a set of 20x9 and 20x10.5 wheels picked out, but am second guessing it and thinking about 19s.

i am getting a set of summer wheels regardless because the stock wheels will get winter tires on them. cadillac-esque ride quality is for my parents, not me. this is a performance car.

    it's also getting lowered..

    Same bolt pattern as V2?

    Get stock V2 wheels

    Or F14's.

    Still my favorite wheel.

    09+ is 5x120, i'm 6x115.

**** NO on those F14s. every god damn V with aftermarket wheels has those. hell no. someone finally was okay with making a 6x115 wheel for the V dudes and literally everyone jumped on that bandwagon. NOPE.

i never said they didn't look good.

i said every V ever has them and i'm not a sheep. i don't care if they are only $1650 for the set, i don't want them.

i also already bought an extra set of headlights so i can crack a set open and paint the insides without having to worry about 1) messing up the only set of lights i have, and 2) not being able to drive the car in the mean time. bonus.

I hate those headlights, a real pain to change bulbs on. On the 3.6 anyway.

I've removed the air box on the drivers side to get at the bulbs, passenger side I'm not sure, but to remove them completely, yeah you gotta take the dumb bumper off.
