Wd40 also works but you gotta let it sit and agitate it every once in a while. It gets messy melting it off
what litterally melts plastydip off is that turtle wax lable and sticker remover.
OK I was walking through the spray paint Isle and was looking at paint for my rims and I can't make a decision. I looked at a really dark copper color and thouht that would look cool mabye... I just don't really want black because it's so common
I think im going to jump on the bronze color

finally got the winter wheels free of plasti dip. Man what a pita. Alot of break cleaner and scrubbing. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...c2b259b55d.jpg hopefully these will come off in the upcoming week... I'm going to miss them:(
I'll borrow them
Indefinitely......
Haha I'm sure you would;) still don't know I even want to paint my rims anymore because of how fricken cold it is outside.

I've spray painted a billion things and this has never happened... I'm kinda freaking out because this looks like sh!t
Yeah that's bad
I don't know why it's doing it... I'm going to let it dry and give it another shot
It looks like the surface is too smooth or something my PVC elbow for my intake did that.
I put primer down... And it as pretty rough.
how cold is that wheel? and the can of paint?
most spray paint needs to be at 72 degrees or warmer to work right. and its f-ing cold out today.
Damn it your probably right... Its about 30 out but I have a space heater in the middle of the wheels...
Yup the temperature caused that. Personally I don't understand the need to paint winter wheels.
Take them inside and warm them up for a bit then try again in an hour or so. Same with the spray can keep it warm in like hot water or something in between coats
Because I don't care for the look of the all silver wheels with a silver car.
It's a set of stock winter wheels! There going to be covered in snow most of the time anyways.
I'm going to take it as you just wanted something to paint.
