I really does help having one, I'm sure the wife is glad we don't have one at the house.....she'd never see me inside LOL!!!

Short in the wire harness to the ICM, short to the fuel injector.
I recently had a connector female pin that was cracked and would separate just enough to short out and cause my turn signal not to work.
If you are going to splice and wire in the engine bay, I have learned you never solder, only use good crimp connectors. Engines can heat up the solder and vibrate the connection loose.
I thought he had gone through all that.
Don't you think a FI would toss a code if it were messing up?
But it doesn't all the time, he says at idle and normal acceleration its fine. Only when he gives it 70% or more throttle he has the issue.
I just made up the 70% part, but he said more than normal throttle.
EXACTLY
I touched his car once. That might be it.
WHAT IT IS?
Somethings I've noticed while driving it so long like this:
-On a normal day it seems to misfire a lot less when the engine is cold
-If its rainy weather when I first start it, its 100x worse even under light throttle until it warms up
"If dave thinks 70% throttle is WOT, then what does he tell his wife"
Okay so I tore up that part of the wiring harness.
is this sh!t?
Looks like 2 sets of 2 wires wires merged into one wrapped in paper mache and tape. Nice work GM? Still don't think that's the problem but still odd. Has anyone else come across this?
The rest of the harness looks fine. One part where of the harness connects to the cam position sensor seemed a little stiff and brittle.
see that area with bare wire? strip some wire back like a inch past the bare wire, if wire is all dull looking thats your problem for sure.
when you strip the wire back it should shine like new copper, once its dull its dead. its called dry wire, current just dont pass through it right any more.
Dude...this has been your problem all along.
I still have my doubts.
It could also be something where the harness runs over the supercharger. I tried to get that piece to run under the supercharger inlet but there wasnt enough slack... I may have been too rough with it... who knows.
Before it all goes together im going to do one last compression test, just to be sure.
If Scotty and Dave are right, I will pose on the hood of my Saturn without my shirt on and post it here.
