Can't really comment on the ride yet, because I haven't figured out what pressure the rears prefer. From driving around on the fronts the past few days I could definitely say its an improvement over stock. Its a little bouncy if the pressure it set too high, but it doesn't feel like I'm driving through the jungle in a jeep anymore.
And If I honestly wanted to I could drive that low. But I would be rubbing my fender liners a little. For now, I set my ride height to where the fender sits just above the tire.
Its such an improvement in so many ways.
I dont nose dive when I brake
Launching has improved ( more traction )
The body doesn't wobble when I shift, making shifts feel smoother.
Full lift is just as high or higher than stock.
No more body roll
... and you cant forget about the cool factor.
Also, my windshield wipers decided they didn't want to work on the rainiest day of the year whilst on the highway... so theres that.
I can hear the motor going but no wipey.
The list never gets any shorter.
Hmm you don't need those function correct anyways..
Welcome to a 10+ year old car
pop them caps off the bottom of the arms and give the nuts a turn to tighten them up. if that wont hold them the splines on the tranny or the wiper arms maybe worn off to much. ( very fine splines in there.)
im taking mine off to paint them up when the bumpers get done. my arms are shot looking.
Man I can't remember exactly, but I think it was most comfortable with the fronts around 45 and the rears around 40 or maybe a tad less. Its a rough guess though, but probably a good ballpark to try out. definitely have the back lower though because thats where most of my bouncing was coming from. There just isnt a lot of weight back there to need much pressure. Also I've messed around with every dampening setting I could think of trying to dial it in, I wouldn't recommend messing with them, but they're just all the way stiff all around if you want to play around with it
you have a small 2 gear puller? if so pop that puppy on there, they come right off.
or while using the claw hammer there, tap the threads with something, it should pop. if not puller time.
