It doesn't, I have a 99 F body bracket on there. I started out with a 98 lesabre bracket, but the tensioner was bad. Since I had to buy a new (not JY) one, I went ahead and got the F body bracket, since it has both coolant elbows, not just the one.

They're Mustang Bullitts and I have 245\50\17s on them. I wanna say the rims were stock on Mustangs from 99-04, but don't hold me to that.

Finished up the dash today, I added a 42mm LED to the ash tray to light up the center console, and it came out great! I think. Hard to tell during the day, but it's better than no light. All I have left to do now is get a charcoal arm rest, get a heated seat switch\bezel in better shape, and clean up the shifter\boot a bit. Here's some pics:

It's lighted, but you can't tell in the pic:

It should, kids stay in the back, and my wife and I are pretty careful with stuff like this. If anything I'd be worried about a spilled drink. If that happens and the paint gets destroyed, I'll just sand and repaint, it wasn't that much work at all. The more I do it, the quicker and easier it goes.

Just got home from work, since it was dark it was really the first time i could see the LED in the center console "In Action." The color is a bit off, but not bad at all. I find this strange because I used to have this same LED in the overhead console and when it was in there it was the same color as everything else. I also have it wired wrong. I have it wired into the cigarette lighter's ground, and it looks like the BCM provides the ground to the interior lighting to turn it on...so it's on all the time the car is on. Other than that, I like it a lot! I'll be fixing the wiring tomorrow and if the color doesn't change, I can live with it. I REALLY need to vacuum this car. I can wait to move away from this house\driveway lol:

Made a trip to Springfield today, I bought 4 rolls of Peel n'Seal, then stopped by the JY for some stuff. I picked up a good armrest, and a new vent for the passenger side, just so everything matches. I still need to clean up the arm rest a bit, but it didn't turn out quite like I wanted. It looks a lot better than it did with the tan armrest, but I might try for something darker later on. I started the Peel n Seal, I pretty much have the trunk lid done, I hope to have enough to do all 4 doors and the rear quarters. With the just the lid done I can hear a HUGE difference. I'm excited to get the rest done. All for $60! Pics:

    Peel n Seal:

For the first time in a YEAR my wife actually helped me with something on the car and LIKED IT! I'm kinda of concerned:

    She's proud:

I have to do some more work to the bottom, and a little more by the latch, but it's almost done:

Progress today, although not much. My migrane decided to interfere with that. I'm breaking for dinner right now, but I already have the drivers side front door tore apart and cleaned, just have to peel n seal it. We also finished up the trunk, except for the floor and rear deck, it's good. Trunk lid, rear quarters, and the ass are done. I ended up covering the door skin and the inside sheet metal that the door panel attaches too. I don't have very good pics of the passenger side, but here they are:
    Along the way:

And right before I sliced out the 2 screw holes for the door panel, I used some wire loom to run the door lock linkage through:

Last night I was up til 3AM re configuring my gain structure, I used my multimeter to check the voltage since I don't have access to a scope, but it came out GREAT. Between the Peal n Seal and doing the gains, it sounds a like a totally different stereo. I had problems with some songs over-driving and other songs being flat, and this fixed it! So far I've only used a roll and a half of peal n seal, I still have 2.5 rolls left, I hole to have all 4 doors done and the rear deck.

Calling it a night. Since my last post I finished the majority of the rear deck, and 2 more doors. I have enough to do the last door, but I need more christmas tree clips for the door panel. I've replace 16 of them across 3 doors. I didn't finish the rear deck yet because I want to make sure I'll have enough Peel n Seal to finish the last back door, but now that I finished the 1st back door, I know I'll have more than enough. I might even start covering the floor of the trunk. I didn't pay as close attention to the rear doors because things are pretty tight in there, I only got about 3 strips down, but I still covered the inner metal completely. Anyways, enough rambling, here's some pics:
Inside the Driver side front door:

    Rear Deck:

Rear Quarter, I'm holding off on the wheel wells until I reinforce my strut towers:

I didn't get any pics of the driver rear door, but you get the idea. I'll get some pics of the other rear door tomorrow.

Next big project is the TCC solenoid...Oh boy.

Sound deadening is done! Well, not really. Let's say Stage 1 is done. I still have the floor pans (cabin and trunk) and the rear wheel wells, but those will come later. Other than that, everything is covered. Made a HUGE difference in sound, and with all windows up and doors closed there are no rattles on the outside at all (or inside for that matter) and you can barely hear the music outside the car when it's on full blast. Doors open is a different story, you can really hear yourself think...I never listen to is that loud IN the car. My wife did everything to this last door, I think she did a GREAT job...probably better than I did on the other side... Here's some pics:
Cleaned and wiped down with alcohol:

    Inside door skin:

    Inner sheet metal:

That's it for now! I'm sure I'll find something else occupy myself with here soon.

Just started the day and it's already a good one! Torque Pro finally works like I want it to! It opens on start up, without making my boot time any longer, and it WORKS. I've been e-mailing the developer of Torque Pro back and forth, and he was able to repair the problems I was having, so I am now a HAPPY CAMPER, I'll tell you what. Now from the touch of a screen I can check my transmission temp, KR, misfires, etc. and if anything goes over a certain limit (I set) it'll say the alarm over the speakers. It's installed on my hed unit, so you hear "Knock Retard High" type thing out of the speakers (over the music). I know it doesn't seem like much, but I think it's pretty f*ckin awesome.

I have to go on a diet to make up for the weight difference, lol. Either that or get rid of one of my kids...Anyone want a 3 year old? fully loaded, house trained, very fluent in the words "what?" and "Dad\Daddy," Isn't a picky eater (walking garbage disposal), and loves helping...even when you don't need help!

Yesterday I tore into the engine for the first time in awhile. I have had high LTFTs for a little while, so I decided to find out why. I did a red neck smoke test. I pulled the CAI off and put a glove over the TB, pulled the Brake booster hose with the check valve still attached, put a clean section of hose on the check valve, sparked up a black & mild, and blew the smoke in the tube. Smoke started coming out of the poassenger side rear of the LIM area, so naturally I thought it was the S\C gasket and\or injector o-rings. I pulled it all apart, resealed everything, replaced O-rings, and it still leaked. Then I noticed that it was actually coming from the valve cover. So I pull the cover, discovered a torn gasket, replaced it ($60!!!), and no more smoke. Now my LTFTs are down in the negatives, but they are fluctuating a bit, I think the PCM is adjusting...always in the negative now, no more positive. Here's some pics. I didn't really clean up the engine while I had it apart, but it still looks pretty good:
Headers are starting to get some pretty cool colors:

    Today's Patient:

Gasket surfaces cleaned, other than the injectors (an eventually the valve cover, I didn't touch anything at all.

    Look mom, functional PCV!

    All back together:

finally a descent pic, I need to clean my coolant reservoir...I also have a new relay box cover to clean up, paint and install:

It's kind of a 2 man job, because the smoker get s little light headed, haha. Believe it or not, I blew the glove up and it stayed pretty well inflated. It slowly bled down, but it held it's shape a lot longer than I expected. If possible, I always start the the engine after the test (with the glove off, dumbass) just to get the smoke out. I don't want my engine looking like a bong or anything...

Well, I've been doing some research to try and repair my transmission. The classic TCC oscillation. I have had the TCC PWM solenoid disconnected for some time, and since the Arizona trip (1300 miles each way) is coming up, I decided to get it repaired. Last weekend I tore into it and replaced the TCC PWM solenoid, and the problem got about 70% better. It really was a pretty easy job, I'm glad because I'm doing it again this weekend. I'm actually doing even more. I'm replacing the 4th shaft, 4th steels and clutches, the PCS solenoid, and I have a Sonnax TCC pressure valve to install in the valve body. Oh, and an aluminum sub frame. A buddy of mine owes me some money and he had a credit at a JY, so I got this today. They didn't have any oil pans though, maybe next time. Here's some pics. Like I said, tomorrow I tear into it...again:

    More pics tomorrow, of course.

It's Peel n Seal, designed for roof sealing, but it's the same or very similar materials. Dynamat may work a little better, but it's about quadruple the price. You can buy it in the roofing section of Home Depot for about $17 for 12.5 SQ ft. When you apply it, clean everything VERY well with rubbing alcohol(2-3x), press it all on, then heat it all up with a hair dryer and press it on again. So far it has stuck very well, except under the rear deck, one strip keep falling off, but I'll admit I did a horrible job prepping that area...it was more of a place to put the scraps I had. Some say there is a odor that will eventually go away (a few weeks), but neither me or my wife can smell anything at all. 4 rolls did everything you see above, all that isn't done is about 60% of the trunk floor and the cabin floor (I'm not going to do the roof).
