Nope, I'm both black and white, not black or white haha. Glad that was the first thing that came to your mind though...

I say leave the hood and spoiler alone....and paint the rest of the car black

Seriously though I like it the way it is. If anything, some real carbon fiber would be nice. I've been looking at small kits online. Not sure what I want to do with it yet, just would love to play with some.

If you just want to play with setting up and you haven't used fiberglass use it first, it's setup is very close to carbon fiber and you can vacuum bag it just like carbon without the cost.

I've messed with glass. The thing that intrigues me with cf is how they can get the pattern to look even and nice even on odd ball shapes. Glass you don't worry about how it looks.

I was thinking of trying to make some cf dogbones. I could make a mold out of one and use that and a cheap vacuum setup for cf. But like I said, don't know how the pattern would turn out on an oddball shape like that.

I do like CF, but the cost of it is insane. I don't want to replace the hood, and I have yet to see a SLP Gen 1 spoiler in CF. IDJ let me know if you need me to snap a pic from a specific angle, I wanna see your ideas lol.

I did gunmetal on my torque stars when I still had them and I liked it at first, but after about a week or 2...meh. I did paint my dash bezels and such that color though, and I think they look great.

yah I saw that. my bezel and center console are white. I may not even do anything with the wheels for some time. I am liking the polished aluminum so far. the clear is coming off in ac couple places. the stuff I am using is similar to plasti dip.

Lightly glue window screen to it and fog with charcoal, then remove sreen and apply clear. Instant cf.

Hey so uh- got a pic from same angle as your sig but higher? Side shot, front from windshield height, rear 3/4 view, rear? If you know of a white SD pic, a high front 1/4 angle like siggy... get that and then match the angle as close as poss. Follow that, br'er? Any of the above would help. How you feel about bringing in other colors as accent? Which? Rather email it? Do.

I'll get the pic in the morning so you have better light, I'm stuck at work (without the car or camera) til Midnight. I dunno about other colors, I like the dark\light contrast. I could see going with a different color than black, but still something dark. I'm also up in the air about paint the bottom of the front and rear bumpers with whatever the dark color ends up being. Maybe I can talk to Matt Palm and get a pic of his car from the angle you are talking about, he has a white SD hood on his car. It's a 2 door, but same hood (as you know).

No rush! I might be able to wing it anyway but either way I'll do simple visuals next couple days. Theres prolly something in this thread already I can use. I asked about accents because y'know we're stuck with the vivid red arrowheads, and I didn't know if you have inlays out back. Man, there is no match for the brutal acceleration of time once a guy clocks out. Punch in and time drags on, then it dragstrip launches into time warp and bam, there you are back at work...

I do have white inlays on the rear PONTIAC but that's it. I have more stickers I've been thinking about putting on to piss red off, but I dunno, lol.

I don't know really, lol. I see that optical illusion making the 4x4 status worse. I can't remember if that pic is before or after lowering. Ironically I just took some pictures so let me upload them...

Good. I know the pic is old but its a start. Some of the pics I grabbed from this thread end up being unknown format when I try to view here. Tried changing filename.
