Lol trade them for what? I need something for winter haha.

I got some new goodies. My ssc springs came in, wish I woulda just chopped em like dsmuts but too late! Lol n I got some g8 gxp tips. Contemplating some borla pro xs mufflers but idk if I should grab some or not. I'd keep the stock y pipe n all that so idk how it'd all sound. Probably get the rear springs on Sunday n keep DNA fronts for a week or so to see how I like it that way.

Take measurements of the SSC springs vs the DNA when you take then off. Borla XS FTW!

Will do..I'd need 2.25 center/offset right? Trying to decide or just throw the tips on. My left muffler also hangs a little lower.

Hell yea they're. You'll lobe them. They sound almost similar to how the stock ones sound but much deeper when you get on it. Keep the stock resonator and you'll have drone. The guys at the FL meet loved them and kept asking me my set up if that tells you anything.

Ugh autocorrect. Yes keep the stock resonator. Try it like that first and see how you like it then decide if you want to add a glasspack or not.

Thanks, once I decide about the borlas or when they get in stock where im getting them thru they will be on! I need to find a cheap place to install it all. The muffler shop I usually go to said theyd charge 50 a muffler n thats too much for two cuts n two welds lol. My dad has a welder but im not the greatest at it. I used to button up my old exhaust on a mustang I had before n it wasnt too pretty. Time to shop around for shops

Lol naw not trying to do that haha. Idk whats better than borla though. We have some differences tho for sure. I just ordered an overkill pcm from will last night. Hoping it doesn't take a month to get. I emailed him n he said hes waiting for some 06 pcms n should be there monday, programmed, n shipped out. How do them hook up? Just plug n play or do I need a relearn process or something?

Not worried about lol, have our differences and after all I owned the car for so long it was just a matter of time till someone else got the mod bug. Corsa better but pricey as s**t and Idk if they sell the mufflers without the whole system. Stick with Borla you'll be happy. Wickednicki is were I purchased mine from.

I thought you already had a overkill PCM? Either way its worth the wait I was going to send mines back to have it retuned but I plan on making a little trip and have a forum member tune it for me again.

Yeah wicked nicky is 100 a piece n off ebay at usparts I think or some vendor theyre only 75. But they only have center/center so I gotta wait till the have center/offset in stock n they dk when. But nope no overkill yet. Hoping by end of next week to the following monday.

lol. Yea they're still pretty pricey I think I paid the same thing years ago buy well worth I didn't want to sound like a v8 and liked the stock mufflers but wanted something a bit louder that wasn't gawdy like flowmasters or so. How's the mpg without running the cat?

Right yeah, thats why I was thinking about just keeping stock mufflers n just dress up the tips. Idk still..depends how long these guys seem like theyll take. N actually ive been getting better mpg with headers n no cat. Bumped up to 18-18.5 where before was about 15.5-15.8 only lol. Does removing cat take away mpgs?
