Lol naw not trying to do that haha. Idk whats better than borla though. We have some differences tho for sure. I just ordered an overkill pcm from will last night. Hoping it doesn't take a month to get. I emailed him n he said hes waiting for some 06 pcms n should be there monday, programmed, n shipped out. How do them hook up? Just plug n play or do I need a relearn process or something?

Not worried about lol, have our differences and after all I owned the car for so long it was just a matter of time till someone else got the mod bug. Corsa better but pricey as s**t and Idk if they sell the mufflers without the whole system. Stick with Borla you'll be happy. Wickednicki is were I purchased mine from.

I thought you already had a overkill PCM? Either way its worth the wait I was going to send mines back to have it retuned but I plan on making a little trip and have a forum member tune it for me again.

lol. Yea they're still pretty pricey I think I paid the same thing years ago buy well worth I didn't want to sound like a v8 and liked the stock mufflers but wanted something a bit louder that wasn't gawdy like flowmasters or so. How's the mpg without running the cat?

Right yeah, thats why I was thinking about just keeping stock mufflers n just dress up the tips. Idk still..depends how long these guys seem like theyll take. N actually ive been getting better mpg with headers n no cat. Bumped up to 18-18.5 where before was about 15.5-15.8 only lol. Does removing cat take away mpgs?

Usually just sets a code and causes the car to run a bit lean that can effect mpg. That's about it.

Yea if all else fails try a mom and pops shop they tend to be a lot cheaper then the big shops and more negotiable. I paid like $50 to get both tips and mufflers welded on.

As you can see it was a mom and pops shop lol

^^^Exactly, When we had the GP we went to this one place and did a change on our LIM Gasket for like 200$. Compared to other places like good year who were going to do it for double that. But for the muffler they should do it cheap and like RED said very negotiable too.

Plus i believe they do offer warranty with their work too like 6 months but hey better than nothing.

So I put the ssc rears on today..so much easier when you've done them before. Took like an hour n half compared to before lol.
i measure before with the DNAs and the rear passenger was 28 3/8 n rear driver was 28.. No clue why they're different lol. both fronts with dna are 27. n now with ssc before it settles the rear pass. Is 27 1/4 n driver pass. Is 27 1/8. Still a little different. But sits a lot more even for now. Ill measure in a few days after they settle. Went to do the rear rotors n brakes n of course stripped caliper bracket bolts..any suggestions? So I just painted both calipers red to at least match for now.
    some pics for nowww

At least it's not pouring rain with frozen snow on the ground like last time lol

    Before with DNAs all around

After with DNA fronts and SSC rears

Hey you wanted a suggestion on getting those striped bolts out, a friend of mine got his out by taking a Pinch clamp and clamping it on the bolt really tight and then hitting it with a hammer to turn the bolt. That was his cheap way to do it, took a while but better than buying the special tool for it when you dont have the money.

What's a pinch clamp? One of them wrenches that you adjust n clamp down tight? I had to bash with a hammer to get the fronts off but they didn't strip. Then I blasted the rears n tried the same with a little breaker bar n hammer n stripped them both. Ill mess with them another day n figure it out. I painted the rear calipers red for now but I wanna get the drilled n slotted rotors on eventually. Thanks tho I will give that a shot.

271/4 different struts maybe....pretty close...that what you meant?

I am duly impressed with your ride.
Kinda made my mind up on rims..since I just scored a job.
Probably go with some 19"TSWs since they work great on your car
