Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
The red and black wire is essentially what turns the projectors into the high beam. Just splice into that and the green/black wire coming from where the standard halogens high beams on. Should work for you. That's how I've had mines set up and worked perfectly. Try it. Worse case scenario is you just splice them back.

Alright I gotcha then. Just since I had it I didnt know if there was an easier way to hook em up. Cuz as you can see on them splitters, that black male plug doesn't look like itd hook up to anything or is it just me? Lol

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Never used the splitter myself and at the time there wasn't much retrofits going around so it required some trial and error and splicing up wires for me to get everything to work. Hey wiring doesn't have to be pretty you don't see it ;)

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Lol yeah youre right! Well if I gotta do that I will. I could care less if I even had hi beams! Haha. The splitters were only $10 so I grabbed em n they told me id need em lol. Obviously so I wouldnt have to splice into anything. But the spades on the black park are wider so it wont plug into anything, unless im overlooking something. Ill have to check again later.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
unplug the old high beam and plug the solenoid black/red leads into/splice it? or am I wrong. The shield tripping is what gives you high beam.

Well this is from the projector to the splitter n then the black is supposed to plug into the factory hi beam where I take off the bulb..but these spades arent small like what usually getz plugged in. Theyre about a 1/4 inch wide or so
http://i1272.photobucket.com/albums/...psea27f5c4.jpg as you can see theyre wider than the little pins that come out of the projector

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Took a picture of my lower fascia from what I painted the other day. Turned out good
http://i1272.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1d17599a.jpg
but anyways! I started to aim my projectors and one of my bulbs are burnt out already! I'm pretty pissed about that and swore quite a few times. Started aiming n putting jb weld n it kept wanting to sag. Snapped a few pics n I held it to where I wanted as I took it out n then filled it in with jb weld when I got inside so hopefully it's still where it was! But wow I'm so mad that one is already eff'ed up n need to email them to see if they'll do anything about it. Annoying.

Call them. Emailing them will take usually a day or two until they email back they're a small business. They will take care of you though trust that.
It's happens no need to be upset about it. At the same time at least you have your other set of headlights to use until you finish so its not the end of the world

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Yeah I emailed them, if I have time at work tomorrow maybe ill try n call em. But I just checked the website out n its 2 yr warranty and I paid for insurance on the package. So I think itll be alright. Just wait longer before I can do em. But thats alright cuz its not that warm yet at night still up here.

Oh and bumperplugs.com to fill in those license plate holes and just paint them to match or try to find something similar to plug them from the hardware store.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
So I've been working like a madman latlely and haven't been doing much otherwise! Finally got everything situated n sent rfs pics of my bulbs cut just now and hopefully new ones will be sent out tomorrow. As for tomorrow I may have a shorter day and get around to cleaning up my strut bar n installing that. Haven't bought anything recently and money is coming in steady! Haha I'm thinking of what to do next..?! Got a couple ideas but what do you guys think? I won't say what I'm thinking, I want some opinions to see if anyone says what I'm planning.. I'm only wanting aesthetics really because its quick n easy n I don't wanna do a cam or any engine work after the headers, tune n pulley. Go!
