Looking good so far, liking the retro and it seems to be nice in all chrome.
Just so you know....the rear valence unclips out of the car without too much effort. ;)

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
If you do develop condensation in the light, it is common, many of us have battled it. It is a breathing problem I think; the inside of the headlight can act like an oven and bake itself and cause it to develop condensation is my thinking.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
If condensation develops in the headlight that means the headlight was not sealed correctly. I had this problem the first time I ever put my lights together. Instead of heating up the headlights again to reseal them I just used window weld(almost identical stuff except you can apply it without heat) to reseal my headlights. Never had a problem after that.

Thanks man, i painted the shroud hopefully can keep it chrome. Thanks for the how to, makes it a lot easier! N I seen the clips to take them off but I always have bad luck with the clips and break them! Didnt wanna take a chance n had the tape n time. I have a question about the projector going in the headlight tho, is it going to be sticking out about a half inch or so, or did you trim the diameter more to have the projectors sit back a little further in? N your guess about the heat from the lamps n headlights seem logical, I just dont know, would that create the pressure great enough to separate the glue. Is possible tho maybe.

Ohhh nice. I bought the rubber butyl but just at home depot im assuming I can get the window weld. Does it get applied like yhe glue does as well?

If your planning on using the rubber butyl you will have to apply the butyl then heat the headlight for so long then put the headlight together. If you were to use the window weld stuff you just apply like using calk then squish the headlight together with clamps for 5hrs or so then done. In my opinion I would use window weld cause it is a lot easier to work with but that is just me. Either way will work.

Yeah the projector should stick out a little, I've noticed with the H1's they don't sit back as far as the D2s projectors.

Oh wow so I heat the headlight with the butyl applied n then I put the clear lens back on? Window weld does sound easier..maybe ill look into that. Sucks cuz I bought the butyl already but oh well

Okay thats what I thought, n I fill all the open space with jb? One projector hole I drilled bigger on accident n it sits back further n the other is normal size n doesn't sit back much, so I was contemplating cutting the other one bigger too so it sits back better n can cover better. Because then the shroud would be sitting closer back to the lens n cover better. If I make sense..

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Cut the hole bigger if you want the projector and shroud to sit closer to the reflector.
