was wondering if you decided on that xp or was staying with the S1X. are you going to run the higher ratio rockers?
Not for now. If it performs well with the xp I'll put the rockers on the bonneville.
supposedly the xp does better at higher rpm's, so I bet you wont need the rockers with the xp cam. I've only ever had an xp cam, so nothing to compare it to, but when I raised the rev limit from 6000 to 6250 it helped a lot.
Good job getting all that work done.
BTW, that roof rail is backwards. They are stamped RH and LH...just sayin.
I just laid it up there didn't really look lol
Making sure, you aren't supposed to pull noob stuffs.
They aren't mine anyway lol just messing with a buddy
Sh1t, strap them on, if they are in your garage....technicalities enforced.
Wow, you work fast. Hope this one holds up.
I work fast when it's not cold out lol
I had an S1X with S3 heads and 1.8's.. Holy chit did it screw.
Likely though.. it's a bit too much for Dan. Poor guy is so busy he didn't see that 8 lbs of crap on his engine block before he torqued down the head.
I'm pretty sure i ran my roof rails backwarrds for all the time LoL
i liked the look the way i had it, maybe they were backwards. who knows.
Congrats on being up and running successfully so far Danno
Hopefully it stays up and running lol. I have better luck slapping stuff together than I do taking my time
Got a text message from someone using your phone. They were asking about a snout turndown tool in order to go sub 2.8".
Better get your phone back and beat that person down.
Needs 2.6" :D
Go BOOM...
repeat motor swap
Go CLANK, BANG
repeat motor swap
Go BOOM
Aren't you getting sick of this?
It'll only go boom if it's got a bad tune or has another issue. I have a Bonneville for a reliable car
