Unless there is something wrong with that flex plate don't touch it. After destroying 2 in about 6 months and snapping all 8 arp bolts off even though they were red locktite'd in im getting sick of doing flex plates. I don't have time to wait for a meziere billet plate this just needs to get back together and running normal so I can leave it for my wife as a spare vehicle incase she needs while im gone.
The weld doesn't seem like a bad idea to me LOL im half temped to do that too. These last 2 have really pissed me off. The 1st time it was cracked between the 3 windows in the flex and at least I could limp that one around like when I drove it to the shop. The time around like I said all 8 bolts are snapped off flush with the crank.
If your not building a trans to go behind that turbo setup the last thing your going to have to worry about is that flex plate........ (no idea if you've mentioned any plans for a built trans for that car before.)
As for now honestly id leave it and if it if/when it breaks and hope it doesn't LOL!
A buddy said he has a broken bolt on his with a cam so it should be fine for some time, and for transmission I have a low miles one I'm going to just eat up while I build one on the side. I have a built one but one of the gears started to slip so I need to fix it

did the ewp gasket and lim gasket today a well and put lock tight on things that need it
the dump fits only because it's flexible lol
things are coming together little by little it's almost there I can't wait to have my car again

I have the supercharger hosing for now with a ported lim, I have someone making a bigger block off for me because the hole on the lim is 1 1/2 in to big,
I have plans to make something like this
not sure if I will keep the tb on the drivers side or copy this to help keep intake temperature down
hopefully getting the 40th tuned this week having problems with figuring out my dhp
I'm going to try to sand and fill this to keep it from rusting, it has some surface rust just because of the snow thus year but the metal is still great

cut some of the brace away for my ic I also have a thick metal strip I'm going to weld to it to mount the ic to it

Coming along nice, I like the front bumper. It's the way it should have been from the factory.
Awesome progess. I saw some of your instagram pics too. Makes me want to finish getting my turbo stuff together. It's just been extremely hard with school and track lately.
You should gotten a hold of me when you went to ZZP. I live 5 minutes down the road from there.
