word, are you taking the trans out with it?
Nice, well I'm subbed cause i'm gonna be doing the same thing. PS how did you disconnect the trans?
Ok wasn't sure. I have that on another tab lol.
Very let down i was anticipating alot of pictures not 3
so where exactly did you disconnect the transmission from the car?
The trans is held down by its trans mounts, which is 2 bolts. When its still bolted to the motor it will come out with it.
In a quick run down, the engine and trans must be unbolted at their mounts, remove the cooler lines, both CV axles, any wiring, power steering items, AC compressor and few other smaller parts and it will come out the top.
here for you Matt a few more
Sorry fell asleep last night not used to getting up at 4:30am for work, but thank you fivefingerdeathpunch for answering that for me, comopaint0707 now that I know how to pull it the other motor is coming along fast I just need to pull the CV axels and undo my power steering
nice, so basically the only really added step is the mounts and cv joints?
OK here are some pictures of everything I removed
A
This is the bracket to the a/c compressor there are three bolts on this side and 2 on the bottom
A
disconnect all the sensors and plugs any vacuum lines
also don't forget the fuel lines
here's some plugs by the power steering under the car that you have to undo
undo the lines of the transmission
undo the motor mounts I forgot to take a picture of the other side its underneath of the car on passenger side just two bolts on each side
I just undid the bolt on the tie rod and the center one because I'm parting it out but it can mess up your alignment if you don't have it straight When you put it back
