Yeah its all coming out hopefully tomorrow and my 98 motor will be in there until I can build this one with my cam
Nice, well I'm subbed cause i'm gonna be doing the same thing. PS how did you disconnect the trans?
I been following this http://www.grandprixforums.net/how-p...yle-47220.html
This is what I've been following http://www.grandprixforums.net/how-p...yle-47220.html
Ok wasn't sure. I have that on another tab lol.
Engine and trans out the top still seems crazy to me have fun. Out the bottom is so much easier
Very let down i was anticipating alot of pictures not 3
Motors not in almost pulled
so where exactly did you disconnect the transmission from the car?
The trans is held down by its trans mounts, which is 2 bolts. When its still bolted to the motor it will come out with it.
In a quick run down, the engine and trans must be unbolted at their mounts, remove the cooler lines, both CV axles, any wiring, power steering items, AC compressor and few other smaller parts and it will come out the top.
here for you Matt a few more

nice, so basically the only really added step is the mounts and cv joints?

I just undid the bolt on the tie rod and the center one because I'm parting it out but it can mess up your alignment if you don't have it straight When you put it back
And there Matt more pictures just to please you lol
