Just throw the cam in anyway.
Yeah but that kid had a n/a with top swap what if it is the n/a cam I wouldn't want to put that in there would I?
I'm running a na cam
You can run an N/a cam in these engines.
TazMagister or whatever his name is on here is running a GT1 cam in his GTP.
While the engine is out, put the cam in now.
I would like to find out before I put it in, I have to wait till Friday till I get paid for more parts but I do need to figure out the transmission problems as well, not sure if I will just get it fix and wait a little longer for more cash to get the rest of the parts but I do need to get my car running soon lol

so this kid never heard of a oil change obviously lol, and I started painting other parts to look nice
Yuck
How could I clean that out?
Are you reusing those heads?
Either way. Brake cleaner on a rag and just keep up with your oil changes and overtime it'll start to clean itself out and pour oil down the lim etc to attempt to clean it out a bit and then drain and change the oil.
Welp since your swapping heads that will make cleanup easier. On the heads your going to use assuming they're disassembled either way brake cleaner on a rag and clean up. For the lim pull the lim..degrease it. Pour some cheap oil down the drains and valleys to clean it up a bit then take some brake cleaner and a rag and clean up what you can. . Since your still putting the cam in, drain the oil so you don't have to much coming out when you pull off the timing cover. A good portion of the sludge will be gone now. Just keep up with the oil changes and the rest will clean itself out overtime.
Brake parts cleaner evaporates after a few seconds do it makes a great cleaner and you don't have to worry about washing it off or anything.
That's exactly what I was thinking to do I found some one selling the nic set up for 700 thats everything should I just get it?
