Sorry for the unrelated question but I'm curious, with that lifter valley doesn't actually look like you can get to the lifters. Do the heads have to come off?
Yes I do believe so. This time next year I'll be doing a cam.....so I'll see then lol

So serious question now guys....ls guys that is. Is the evap solenoid (one on top drivers side near back of the engine necessary or can I throw it out and tune the code off

Yea I can do it. BTW there's a total of 11 coats of paint on it. Painting ls intakes correctly is a pain.
