I think I might plug it, this seems like the best route as everything is already buttoned up. I am using a N* TB. The sensor is broken anyway. I thought the vac port on the back of the s/c was to be capped since PCV is blocked off by the I/C?

if the rear pcv is block by the intercooler then yes cap it off. not all intercoolers block the pcv though.
Only a few things left, thankfully, its starting to get cold out, hopefully i'll get one ride in before snow fly!
Here we go:
Wire in fans
Wire in C100
Wire in BBV
Install Coolant temp sensor
Connect remaining wireharness sensors, I have a few unknowns.
Connect new PCM
Source upper rad hose
Connect power steering / heater core lines
Connect fuel lines
Connect Vac lines / PCV
Replace spark plugs
Fill Coolant, Trans, Oil, Gas
Install Axles
Charge Battery
Crank ***** over and hope to hell she starts!!
I used a 1998 motor, installing the Gen 5 and I/C required me to swap to a 1999+ Alternator and bracket. As such, I purchased a new bracket from ZZP, same price as sourcing a used one. Only problem, it did not come with the heater hose coolant connections that bolt onto it. Where can I get these, I haven't found a part number or seen them anyplace by themselves, local or online.
Is the wiring harness from the 98? There's some emissions stuff that you probably won't use so you'll likely have a couple connectors that dont go to anything. But post some pics of them if your still unsure.
You need the part of the alt bracket that the heater hoses go to?
For the sensors there are two that run along the front bank of fuel injectors and two big ones down by the transmission. I have the main trans plug in not sure of the other two. Pictures to come.
Dsmuts: Yes the piece the hose gets clamped to.
Those 2 by the trans go to the gear selection box on the top of the trans I would guess without seeing them. The big connector on the front goes to the icm harness and the other big 3 wire connector plugs into the coolant temp sensor harness.
Ill get some pictures of them this weekend, thanks for the help. Trying to hurry up and finish so I can rid of the parts car, get my garage back for winter, and start saving for round 2.
Everything I have left to do requires a trip to the parts store, I have my shopping list for the day, so i'll leave some pictures of sensors that I need a home for.
Coolant hose attachments I need for 99+ alt bracket. This is my 98:
Sensors:
I'm guessing this one is not used, and I wire in the BBV here.

Just cut the tie rods off
I could but all I have is a dremel or hack saw.
Hacksaw will work. It won't take as long as you'd think.
New hack saw blades added to list.
Wire in fans
Wire in C100
Wire in BBV
Install Coolant temp sensor done
Connect remaining wireharness sensors, I have a few unknowns see post 49
Connect new PCM
Source upper rad hose done
Connect power steering / heater core lines see post 49
Connect fuel lines done
Connect Vac lines / PCV done
Replace spark plugs
Fill Coolant, Trans, Oil, Gas
Install Axles done
Charge Battery
almost there.
so the first pic of connectors is the l36 map sensor, that doesnt get used you need to wire in the l67 sensor. the second one im not sure what that goes to maybe an emissions sensor, but yes the bbv will be that same style connector that you need there. the 3rd pic is the icm connector, the icm/crank sensor harness will plug into that with the main engine harness.
Awesome, so two of the connectors I won't need; and the other two, ICM, I need to find the harness for.
Yes, the icm harness plugs into the cps by the balancer, the speed sensor down there and the coil packs
K thanks. I have those all hooked up made sure I did it before putting the engine in the car. I swear I had that small harness all wired up I'll check again today.
Ended up ordering the coolant fittings from the dealership, to arrive next tuesday. $18 ea, guess buying a new bracket wasn't the way to go. Off to the garage to get the wiring done now. Should have the battery charger Sunday and get the fluids in. So simply waiting on my PCM to be finished....where it is, I don't know hopefully I'll hear something from w-body store this weekend / monday about it. Will be another 1 day of work on the car this week, 49ers v Vikings on sunday (go 9erz!) so I won't be in much condition to do anything afterwards besides battery charging and fluid fills.
Got a few things done, can't do a whole lot at this point without the PCM.
Wire in fans
Wire in C100done - must test when pcm arrivesWire in BBV - DELETED instead
Connect remaining wireharness sensors, I have ONE unknown see post 49 pic 3, 3 pin connector i am holding
Connect new PCM
Connect power steering / heater core lines
Replace spark plugs
Fill Coolant, Trans, Oil, Gas
Charge Battery
isn't the evap vent solenoids connector red?
