Gev V's aren't too bad price wise anymore. Regardless, you're going to love the new parts. Have fun with your new found ponies.

paid 400 for it. 100% rebuilt. no miles on it and it was sent to me. I couldnt find a genV that was less than 350 ish and about 80-100k miles. I didnt want **** to go out on me....again. so i figured just get a rebuilt with warranty and **** and pulley and boom. all the other mods and stuff will gimme a nice addition of ponies . wont be no stock GTP anymore thats for sure.

I have been taking a few pictures. I just put the 3.4 pulley on today, but I will post pictures in a little bit.

If i were you and you have some extra time, replace the flex pipe. mine sound raspy when im driving next to something and it echoes off of it. Id also get some copper RTV and band clamps. I still needed to put some exhaust foil stuff under the clamps and i still have a feeling they arent sealed.

I just got my headers on . Tip take sway bar out and use a tie down strap to pull the motor all the way to the front of the car .
    1. Take dog bones off
    2. Take stocks off
    3. Take sway bar off
    4. Take a tie down stap and winch the motor as far forward as possible and put the rears on first
    5. Put mid pipe on and run it under the brake boster not to the side of it
    6. Put front header on and make sure it's on the mid pipe while you bolt it down it'll be tuff .
    7. Finish up withe the loos ends and clamps is recommend getting band clamps
Also the mid pipe is a pita I kind of had to wiggle it and use some force to get the pipes to deal completely
Other than that it'll be straight forward

Good luck getting your resonated bolts out after they break off ..

This is why you heat them before even trying to loosen them.

    got the headers in .

i did them at work. took motor mounts off and rocked motor forward...couldnt get it to fit in right so i lowered the craddle in the back about 2 inches and boom, popped right in. sounds raspy

phone died when i was working on car so i couldnt get rear header pictures

i ordered some new band clamps instead of the supplied clamps i got. work a lot better IMO

    S/C install friday.

Nicely done. Grats on a smooth and clean install, most don't opt for lowering the cradle and just try and try and then grip about how hard it was to do it haha

new supercharger she looks all clean and sexy.

Now I know its a genIII and i shouldve gone genV but like i said before, I couldnt find anything really and i couldnt pass up this 100% rebuilt for a really good value.

Went for a little test drive and didnt really put it down but i could feel a power difference. Can't wait to get'er tunned.

looks good, what size pulley is that? and you should have found a way to upgrade to a 98+ Gen III. i see you have the vacuum tree on there still. but it doesn't matter much
