The Firehawk hood has heat extractor vents out on the sides at the back, not in the scoops but the flat part outside. They hide well from the front view but work really well. Just a thought, find some nice louvers and make functional heat extractors out of them.
The hood is ready for install. I love how it looks. We'll wait a few days before polishing it and finally painting the grills black, but we'll install it this afternoon:

Looks fabulous, Broham.
I hate to be the one to say this but looks like it needs a little more adjusting, other then that makes a huge difference
now you enjoy it. Also does it have the 10 speaker set-up?
You're right, I need to raise the front fascia just a few millimeters so it meets with the hood correctly.
It had the Moonzon setup, but it's all been replaced with aftermarket speakers, 10" sub, 5 channel amp and the tablet head unit that was posted earlier in this thread.
Very nice, but I agree, looks like the hood should come up a bit in the passenger front corner.
BTW the front lip on the ram air hood never did line up perfectly. It hung over so dont kill your self trying to line it up.
Looks good.
i think the hood grills would look good black ;)
those headlights.
are they just projectors alone?
or are they in the stock housing?
^ This, more info on these projectors. Doesn't appear to be a housing, so I would think just the projectors alone, but how is it setup?
Hood looks amazing, just like a T/A should. Great work, now go get some stripes. :th_nanana:
I bought them at ls1tech 2 sets of Hella 60mm projectors and adaptor plates - LS1TECH. He got them from some other member who made the plates. It looks like more than one person make these and they sell for around $100 plus shipping. It's a just a pair of Hella projector headlights and adapter plates. It shouldn't be so hard to make these on your own.
