Bought her on October 15th, 2012. I was looking for a Durango or an other SUV my 97 s-10 blazer<Frankenstein> got stolen in April that same year so I was depressed and wanted to get another larger SUV. I spotted the "gem" at a used lot I bought my GF's Saturn at and I just had to take it for a spin. I fell in love immediately. At 2:00 I asked him how much and since I knew him and he went to school with my father he said he would give it up for 2,200 way under KBB. Not thinking anything about him being a typical used car dealer, at 2:30 I slammed the cash on his desk and said where's the keys. Drove it home and washed n waxed her up, then parked it. Took my GF to dinner and when we got back at about 5:00 I asked her if she wanted to go for a ride in the new<called "bat-mobile" then, her idea.> Drove around the town for about 20 and out of nowhere the Trans went to neutral and would not budge. I shut the car off and popped the hood and checked the trans fluid. all fluids where checked by me at the lot and it was at the same level I left the lot at. So I was like, why did this SOB die after owning it for 3 hours??? Turned out that the torque converter had died along time ago and the trans filter was eating the remains, starving the trans of fluid killing it. Since it was already five finger F(_)kd, I figure I'm not getting my new car towed I put it in neutral and started it. I put it in gear and I held for one shift then went to neutral, shut the car off out of gear then started it dropped in 2nd gear and held it the whole way home, every time it didn't shift I'd shut it off as start it, slam a gear and go.
Went to the dealer the next day with an a$$ load of paperwork about the "Consumer Protection Act." Basically saying he's going to fix it, gimme my money back, or get the a$$ whooping of his life. After my GF keeping me from tearing him a new one he decided that Fixing it before I fix him was a GREAT idea on his part. 3 weeks at the shop and I get Her back.... To BE continued
