Hey guys I got back from upstate and had all the parts above installed. However there are two problems I would appreciate your help on.

Despite having installed new control arms, front and rear sway bar links, front sway bar bushings, control arms, motor mounts (both), and having my cradle bolts torqued to specification, the clunking persists. It is very obvious when going in reverse when the car sits for more than a couple of minutes. It is also prominent when I accelerate on a hill and a loud clunk can be heard toward the right front hand side of the car. Other than that it clunks rarely but when it does its loud. I cant feel any clunking through the steering wheel itself or vibration. So what can it be?

Also another problem I encountered when driving home. My check engine light came on with no noticeable power loss. The car drives normal. When I scanned the car, I got a P0420 code. I don't know if my catalytic converter is bad or my O2 sensors?
I cleared the code with my scan tool and drove around the neighborhood for awhile and the code did not come back. Is there a chance it will come back any time soon?

The car currently has 80580 miles.

If the cat is actually bad it'll come back... eventually. It's only set to fire once for each time the car turns on... so clearing a code and then driving around means the code won't come back... today, at least.

If not, maybe it was a onetime fluke caused by the 02 sensor acting funny.

Depending on the state you live in, you can probably simplify matters by running a catless downpipe if you don't have inspections... the code might fire, but you can have that tuned out easily.

In the state I live in emissions are strict and I cannot be without a cat.

Also, what do you think caused the clunking?

I live in NY and my car always passed with flying colors with a bunch of emissions equipment missing, NIC cam and the codes tuned out.
