My car is just finished getting a suspension overhaul today.

Had purchased all of my suspension parts which includes Monroe front strut mounts and rear AC Delco mounts coupled with new FE3 struts all around. I will also installed Dorman trailing arms. Reused the strut boots and rubber things the spring rests on as they are in good condition

Since completion the car rides amazing, I have to get used to the stiffer ride since it was driving like crap for about two years.

I am very happy with the results so far.

Looks like its the end of the road for the GP, too many thing have gone wrong in the past couple of months. More things have gone wrong/broken that have not been mentioned on the forum. I have only mentioned about 1/2 of what has gone wrong on the forum. Including the work done with warranty, total cost more than what the car is worth in terms of repairs. Although most has been fixed, I fear things will go wrong really soon as the last couple of repairs have put a dent in me financially and with student loans and other debts, I cannot afford to keep the car. If I had an extended warranty I would have been able to keep the car, but since I don't, and with things bound to break quite soon based on what has been happening lately, I feel its best to sell that car before it depreciates any more.

Its going to suck being without a car, I had some really good times with it and I love how it rode but my finances are mroe important right now.

The car is in good condition as it is, but I cannot handle these repairs anymore in such a short period of time.

I am sure the car will find an amazing owner who may mod it and handle the problems that comes his/her way.

Eventually in the future I will get a car again, it may be a GP but I am only looking at later model GXP's with under 60k miles and thats if I go with a GP again. I will get at least a 5 year full coverage warranty as well.

Most likey though my next car will be one with a manual such as a GTO, MACH 1, MS3, or Cobalt SS.

I have enjoyed my times on GP forums and all of the help you guys have given me. I may return if I get a GP again but that may be years off.

When the car sells I will let you know.

For now I am only going to use it locally to keep parts moving as sitting to long could cause things to break especially when a potential buyer plans to test drive it. But its driving use will be cut down substantially.
