Hey eddie maybe you can help me, not trying to thread jack BUT crazy, i was just swapping my needles today.

First Question: How did you trim the speedo needle?

Second Question: I believe my engine temp gauge is a little off, how did you set yours?

Third Question: See how this black plastic piece is longer on the 04+ needles, where it slides into place, Does this need to be cut down to the same size as the "stock" needles? (Same with the RPM Gauge)

Fourth Question: Setting the Speedo is a PITA, how did you manage to do correctly?

Trim the speedo needle with scissors or a razor blade cutting at an angle.

Engine temp shouldn't be off, same with fuel.

Trim the black piece down to the stock needle size.

Use either your Aeroforce, gps or whatever you have that can calculate your current speed and set the cruise to 60mph and set the needle on 60.

I Have HUD that i can use for speed. and you mean actually have the needle off completely, set my cruise at 60, then push the needle into position at 60? I was doing that, but its just touchy, right now its off by 3mph... and can it be at any speed and not just 60?

Yeah it can be whatever you want. I just use 60 as an example. I set mine at 60 and had my friend in the passenger seat push it on while I drove... That explains why yours is still off

Trying to push it in while driving is so tough to get it exactly on, ive tried like 10 times and the closest i got so far was 3mph off. i guess ill need a friend to help out. and for the RPM you set that while the car was on and at idle speed?

it was a little difficult you have to trim the speedo needle to the size yours is and the rpm gauge will work fine no need to trim that my temp gauge was fine and my fuel gauge doesn't work, but to calculate that i would just fill your tank up and set it on full. the speedo is difficult to set

it is a PITA to do mine is off by like 1 or 2 mph but it doesn't bother me much

Just leave the car off and rest the rpm needle on the stem

Hell yeah. This is one of the most subtle mods for the interior and it looks awesome if done correct.
