I vouch to rob the trucks ecoboost for the notch!

Got a tensioner setup to replace the p/s pump. Friggin Ford water pumps, ugh. Have to take it over to my old man's when it gets nice out to use some acetylene on her, mapp gas was not doing the trick. You can see the one stud barely poking through the top part of the bracket w/the manual tensioner and no hardware.
After 4 trips to Autozone I finally got a belt that should work. Too cold to work on it any more.

Digging the notch. How to you like the GT-40 tubular? I almost picked one one up for my 85 coupe, but opted for an eddlebrock performer instead. Keep the pics and updates coming. There's a few of us Foxbody fans around here.![]()
I actually have GT-40P's and 1.7 roller rockers. Which headers do you have? Some headers won't work with the 40P's. My BBK shortys worked fine though.
I dont really like mustangs at all, but i like the old 5.0s and the old GT500s. Yours looks way better than ones ive seen around here and trust me the ones around here most likely spend less than 50$ on em and most of them are not even real 5.0s ( there are only like a handful of em around here within about a 100 miles radius). I know for a fact they are not 5.0s cause if they can beat my 07 base GP then they are no 5.0 lol.
Great job with the car bro![]()
Still cold so little progress but here are a few pics
I know the color is off. There were two choices grey or black. It actually matches the seats perfect. But those are only temporary. I'll paint it this spring and hopefully it'll match better.
The armrest probably weighed 7-8lbs, that's why its gone.
Bought some new strike bushings but forgot my torx bits at work. Hex wrenches were too loose for comfort but since I had already taken the pic here it is.

Redid the belt, alternator was squealing like a pig. Not anymore.
May or may not have a water pump gasket leak now. My fault if it is. Time will tell.
Got the striker bushings on. Drivers door is perfect now, the passenger side needs adjusted now. lol
Started pulling the interior out. It will stay out until I get the cage in.

Took the idler setup off and cleaned her up and painted
Took some more interior out last night
And now to this little motherf*cker. This little pos is the bane of my existance. I cannot stress how much trouble this switch gave me. If I ever meet the engineer who designed it I'm going to kick him in the nuts.
You see the four little tabs? You have to squeeze them simultaneously and push through the hole that is small as sh*t. Not bad right? Too bad you cant get your hand in there. Forget getting tools in there, the heater core gives you maybe three inches tops. Then there is the lips on either side for the frame of the dash right next to the left and right of it. Lets not forget about the screws above and below it biting your fingertips like they're piranhas.
Anyways its out now. Now the screw above it doesn't want to budge. Broke my favorite screwdriver in the process. 20 year old cars are a double edge sword. I love em but they are stubborn b*tches to work on.
I took a pic of the inside of the dash where the switch was, it sucks. There is no room to get a shot of it. I'm sure noone here cares but me.

Nice lookin Fox! I wouldn't mind picking up one myself!
Got the exhaust squared away, passenger side was bad. Now you can fit a pinky in between the tire and pipe
Drivers wasn't too bad to begin with but I moved for peace of mind.
Thought I'd show how well the tires fill the wells

exhaust?? who needs exhaust
Inertia switches, what a great idea. Car really looks great structually- You found a gem to build.![]()
On that switch.. ever try and take the console cig lighter out of a Regal? FSM actually says, try J tool, if that fails..break and sell customer a new one.
