    So, i finally finished my intake....bad news, i lost the build pictures but here is the finished product. what do ya think?

    Looks good and somewhat factory. You don't really need that shield though unless it makes you feel any better.

    Gee grandma...what a large pulley you have! Intake looks good and inconspicuous. What is that harness strapped to the fender brace?

    03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

    It's that bundled up wire. You plug it in and it warms up your block for easier starting in winter time.

    The intake looks cool. I like the shield.

    I like it. dont know if the shield would be beneficial though. you may be better off without it, but it does give it a stock look. which is different

    Plastic still probably heat soaks like a mofo.

    I'd still rather run an open cone with even more blower whine and mooorreee flow.

    the shield actually did help . its made of aluminum and painted with black caliper paint. yes i know my pulley is big. im doing headers and 3.4 pulley next and a tune. then meth injection hopefully.
