thanks everyone for the complements, this car is awesome and i am really happy with it, right now i am polishing the headlights with one of those 3M kits from walmart, this is my 4th car doing it to and its turning out great
i actually sold my gtp and got a ninja now along with a 3800 powered olds 88. i was going to buy a silver one from you but it had a tq converter issue.
oh ok, i remember now, yeah that stupid car, i pulled the engine out put a new flywheel/flexplate so i could have fixed the issue right there no prob!
i sold that car to my couisn shes driving it right now with no problems to speak of, once she finally pays me for the car i am going to take it to the trans shop and have a transgo kit put into it and that from what a pro at those trannys say will fix the issue
oh kool, youll love the comp G.
i had a silver gtp with f1 hood, and slp gen 1 spoiler before i sold it. along with a ported gen 3 in red, cooler plugs, ported exhaust manifold, 3.4 pulley, u-bend delete, ect.
love the car, man. the 04+ GPs are growing on me quite a bit, yours is beautiful!
you need to get a cold air intake. without one you can barely here the supercharger. after i put mine in it sounds so loud and super sexy!!
looking into a SRI with a k&n, nothing fancy because i dont want anything liek that, infact i might spray paint the tube black instead of the chrome
btw first kill with it today, 00-04 impala, guy had his windows tinted and had a load stereo, gave me a look and started creeping past the white line so i figured why not, beating him doesnt quite describe it, more like raped him lol
still trying to get used to the 260hp in the rain, my last car only had about 170hp (2.5l duratec in a 99 mercury cougar)
also i am considering rattle canning my grilles, looking at the ebay silver ones i think i can make them look just as good if not better, might get a spare set of black grilles if i go this route first
Nice looking comp g looks real clean and i like that color.
just make your own intake. Look for threads on it.
Its cheaper and works better than a K&N and you dont get raped in that ass on price. $$50-60>$200. ANd oiled filters suck, dry flow FTW.
i opted for a ebay intake with a k&n, payed a bit extra but i think it will look a little cleaner plus i dont have to worry about ordering the right filter
now heres an issue i have, it seems from my searching that its a difficult fix
the car has a monsoon 6 disk cd player and i want to beabe to use my ipod! fm modulators or whatever they are called are a no go, i would prefer not to buy an aftermarket h/u as i really like the stocker, not sure i the car has xm sat but it does have on star
Mine was about $60 total or less?
I have a 3" silicone going from the maf to the throttle intake now. I tried to use something on hand and it wasn't working too well; hence the sag. It's a very tight fit now. My engine was dirty too
Also, if you happen to have the wiring already in your vehicle I have the XM receiver. You'll need to add the antenna I'm sure. The bracket would come with it. It mounts on the left rear tire well behind the trunk carpet.

i kinda wanna get it away from the engine bay a bit so i got one with a tube, looking at the pics the cone should be under the reinforcement bar thing like yours but closer to the front of the engine bay i spent about $80 and it is k&n
if you ever need another stock intake i have about 3 for grand prixs lol. youll have to show me the comp g sometime
