That's a horrible location for it!!! I would be the kind of passenger to constantly mess with it. The 97-03 location on the dash to the right of the wheel is a perfect location, easy for the driver to adjust, hard for anyone else.

i sold that car to my couisn shes driving it right now with no problems to speak of, once she finally pays me for the car i am going to take it to the trans shop and have a transgo kit put into it and that from what a pro at those trannys say will fix the issue

looking into a SRI with a k&n, nothing fancy because i dont want anything liek that, infact i might spray paint the tube black instead of the chrome

btw first kill with it today, 00-04 impala, guy had his windows tinted and had a load stereo, gave me a look and started creeping past the white line so i figured why not, beating him doesnt quite describe it, more like raped him lol

still trying to get used to the 260hp in the rain, my last car only had about 170hp (2.5l duratec in a 99 mercury cougar)

also i am considering rattle canning my grilles, looking at the ebay silver ones i think i can make them look just as good if not better, might get a spare set of black grilles if i go this route first

just make your own intake. Look for threads on it.

Its cheaper and works better than a K&N and you dont get raped in that ass on price. $$50-60>$200. ANd oiled filters suck, dry flow FTW.

i opted for a ebay intake with a k&n, payed a bit extra but i think it will look a little cleaner plus i dont have to worry about ordering the right filter

now heres an issue i have, it seems from my searching that its a difficult fix

the car has a monsoon 6 disk cd player and i want to beabe to use my ipod! fm modulators or whatever they are called are a no go, i would prefer not to buy an aftermarket h/u as i really like the stocker, not sure i the car has xm sat but it does have on star

Mine was about $60 total or less?

I have a 3" silicone going from the maf to the throttle intake now. I tried to use something on hand and it wasn't working too well; hence the sag. It's a very tight fit now. My engine was dirty too

Also, if you happen to have the wiring already in your vehicle I have the XM receiver. You'll need to add the antenna I'm sure. The bracket would come with it. It mounts on the left rear tire well behind the trunk carpet.
