Started modding the roof rails today

First thing was cleaned up the bottoms from adhesives etc.

    From:

    to this:

Then i cut the nub off the back end, then filled the hole with JB:

    to:

Then i took and drilled 2 small holes in the tip and took some bare copper wire and looped it in there.
    (forgot pic)
Then i took and covered that with more JB stick:

Letting it dry nice before i touch it or move on to # 2

Oh, I see. Good call. Nobody ever pointed that out on the 04+ models. Definitely the way you're doing it then.

    Today's update:

Rails are painted, cleared. Let sitting inside overnight help em cure etc. They are ready to go. Just waiting on the bank to process my deposit and then they go on. They will be on by the weekend, if not during the weekend because of time etc. who knows.
The stuff im gonna use to adhere them will be bought at a paint supply store, strong ass stuff, like the structural adhesive stuff, only no special application Gun needed.

Anyways, since we all love pics.. i present PICS:

$40 glue... this glue better be encrusted with some ****ing diamonds and be strong enough to glue Oprah's fat ass to the ceiling.
