That's too much. When you decide to take them off so you can sell the car or have a major emergency and need to sell something to raise a quick few bucks, you'll ruin them trying to get them off.

I use the clear silicone that's made to hold panel trim pieces on... That and 3m double sided tape and you won't pull these *****es off. The whole car shakes violently and still no movement from the rails.. A tube of it is only 7 bucks.. You don't need no 40$ ****. You're just wasting your money

Considering the last time I used Gorilla Glue it expanded and hardened like a dam diamond, I don't know if I would want to use it on the rails if you want it back off EVER! Plus if it expands it won't sit down like it should and you'd have to sit with it holding pressure all over until it cured... 2-4 hrs later. I would think the trying to take them off later would result in pulling off the paint under the glue before the glue itself let go.

    thought so.

A urethane or expoy would be better i think because it could be broken down chemically if need be.

polyurethane is some tough stuff. its not coming off. and epoxy is kinda there for life too. if you try to break it down chemically, your also taking the paint off.

silicone will come off easier in the long run. and that gorilla glue, i never used the all weather, but the regular kind you can beak it free at least if need be.

or just a strip of 3m tape. at least with tape you know it will come off down the road.

Sure beats $40 for some "never come off" epoxy. Besides, truthfully, the rails make a subtle difference, but I doubt if people would really steal them off your car unless you just happen to park in a really BAD area in which likely you will lose your wheels before they take the moldings. 95% of people don't realize the demand for these and would think they are just another $20 molding to the car.
