You get what you pay for. I need to replace my blower motor again because I bought a generic part the last time it needed replacing. I don't want to have to replace this radiator again. If I can go to my local auto parts store and order a better rad from say an '07 Lucerne or something and stick it in place without modification why wouldn't I? I just need to know what models' radiators I could expect to match up. On the other hand I'm sure there's a rad shop somewhere out there that already makes the all metal rad for this car that I really want. I'd settle for the upgraded rad out of another model that used a 3.8.
