Sometimes favors are better than cash.

What does he do, where does he work, what can he trade? Just for example.

just the cat back 100 sounds fair if its not to rusted out, the cat back rusts from the inside, use large channel lock pliers, give the pipe a little squeeze, if its soft its rusting out already. add the exhaust manifolds 200 would fly i suppose. im sure he'll try to talk you down.

Go for about $100 here in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of rain, but not a lot of salt....so not much rust. $150 and let him think he got a deal at $100 if it were my Pontiac being parted.

Let's see, DP, resonator, cat, piping and mufflers... $200 is a deal IMO.

Ehh.. I wouldn't try to get rich off it depends on how much your actually giving him.. Check the local scrap prices, the cat can usually be scraped for a pretty penny so I would check that out first to gauge what you should let it go for.

Cat should be worth 80-120 to a scrap metal guy or core buyer assuming it's an OEM Cat.
