    my valve cover gasket is leaking oil slowly. if i replace the gasket do i have to get new grommets or can i reuse them. only 121xxx miles if that makes a difference

    Most would say you have to replace them, or they will leak. They're what put pressure on the valve cover to keep it sealed. Old squished bushings won't work as well.
