    Well, for the passed four years I've owned a 1997 Grand Am GT... she was my baby, until she decided to just expel all her oil... and antifreeze... and be a total twat to work on... so, I went out and bought myself a 1997 Grand Prix GTP... needed intake gaskets, not surprising, ended up needing a new lower intake... got that, put everything together, got a new battery, went to start her up, and now BAM, random cylinder misfires, and fuel is leaking out of the right-hand quick disconnect, and the pressure release valve...

    I have no clue what to check next!! I'm alright with gasket changing, messing with nuts, and bolts- but this is kind of throwing me off, all the wires are connected- on their corresponding coils, all the injectors are snug, the disconnect seems to be snug aswell, what else could it be???? Any helpful hints/ideas?

    Well, unclick the fuel line again and see what the orings look like. Maybe take it off and put it back on to see if the seals good.

    And they make a core tool to remove the pressure release valve, a new one can be installed if needed. Perhaps it's just loose.

    As for the misfire make sure you know what cylinder is really where. The front bank is 1,3,5 and the rear is 2,4,6.

    I'm figuring the misfires are just due to the fuel pressure being out of wack, I borrowed an OBD2 reader from work and it just gave me a p0300, which kind of made me feel a little better- but I'll try disconnecting it tomorrow... figures trying something so simple would escape me...
