So my brother was at a local junk yard the other day picking up some misc. parts for his Trans Am. He ran across a 2000ish model GTX Grand Prix. Said it was a complete car but hit in the side I believe. Did these cars come with anything significantly different than my 2000 GTP that would be worth picking up and putting on my car? Seems like I've read that the only difference is a ram air hood and air intake but I'm not sure. He couldn't remember if it had a ram air hood or not. It has the non polished 5 spoke wheels. The ones with the skinny spokes. I'm gonna go look at it some day when I'm not working 60-70 hours a week. BTW he said he was absolutely positive that the emblems on the door said GTX and not GTP. Just throwing that out there before someone asked if he was sure of what he was looking at . Thanks

If it's a true GTX then it should have a bunch of SLP things on it...SC pulley, rockers, air intake, and hood.

I just talked to a friend of mine that was with my brother. He saw it too. I sent him a bunch of pictures of what the factory emblems looked like. He said yeah the emblems look just like the factory ones in the pics I sent. But he said it has a regular style hood on it. Only other details he remembered is black leather interior . I gtg look at it.

How much will you give me for them?
2000 GTP coupe. Wizaired intake. 3.4 pulley, Overkill tune, and Speed Daddy's waiting to be put on.

I would be interested in the spoiler. What is the color? Pics would be great.

    Most GTX's were appearance only.

Badges, Hood, Floor Mats, Wheels, Ect...

It wasn't until the later ones that they started doing anything performance with them.

The only thing GTX about this car were the emblems. No roof rails, no GTX spoiler, and a regular style hood. The GTX badges are in perfect condition though.
