the only thing my cars been to a real shop for is an alignment.

used cars have lots of maintenance that need to be dealt with most of the time. work on getting it road worthy, make sure its running well, then mod it.

with any luck a few smaller repairs will loosen you up for the big job.


i just did headers, getting the stock crap off is more work then putting the new headers on. keep that in mine, old parts fight a bit, new parts aka replacement parts then go back on so nice and easy. helps that you just took it apart 20 minutes ago too.

take before pics, pics as you go, any thing to make you feel like you have some back up help if you forget where something goes. then theres always some one around here who could talk you through something if need be. lord knows ive been there, as well as many others.
