Op there will be a lot of 3800 guys who say things like for what it is. Don't pay that any attention as you have a great car that performs good out the box...

As mentioned before you'll want to invest in a couple things for longevity of the car.

Trans cooler in a standalone config

Trans filter replacement with new fluid.

    Shift kit as well.

Go for a tune. A quality one.

Tune your car up.. Msd plugs are among the best and a set of tr6ix NGK plugs.

Thank you, I saw that "how to" a while ago and was reading up on it. How hard is it to do it yourself or did you get the kit and take it to a shop? And out of TEP, which trans cooler did you get, the 100$ or the 200$? You mentioned a stand alone fig, did you mean to bypass the radiator/trans cooler or run off the new one and that?

I plan on getting a tune down the road, just need to figure out a step by step how to because I literally have never done a custom tune like that or where to even look to hook a HP Tuner up and stuff.

As far as my car right now, I am loving it. It has a lot of power and I'll have to get a video of the exhaust up, it sounds good.

I'm running a the 9c1 police package 3800 impala oil cooler as my trans cooler, but a similar one off amazon will do just fine a huge bar plate style will work great. The shift kit was really easy. And yes mine is in standalone config....screw that radiator "cooler". Just follow 02navyblues guide

Make sure you get that dod turned off and tuned up sooner than later.
