This is for my Pontiac Grand Prix GT2 2004.
So I changed the radiator yesterday, put a new Water Pump and new Serpentine belt. I went to change the thermostat and saw that the old one was marked 180F and the new one was 195F. I didnt really pay attention to it when I bought it , but didnt want a hotter release unless it was a better option.

Any thoughts, what do you guys recommend?

Sometimes you just have to look at it this way, do i know more about how an engine works than those who design them? No.

Stay with the oem specified 195.

Unless your car is tuned for the 180* stick with the 195
