I found this liquid kind of like oil. Maybe power steering fluid near the pulleys anyone know what it is? And why is it leaking?

id start with 2 cans of de greaser, clean the engine and tranny up all nice. then keep a eye on it over the next few days looking for the leak source.

Yeah I'm going to. Just never seen this happen before. Could it be intake gasket?

Seen the lower intake and valve cover gaskets leak oil down there.

Alright took it to my mechanic to look at it and it's the water pump. The gasket is bad and he thinks the water pump could be bad too

its possible. its a 40 dollar job if your up to it your self. very easy to change really.

engine off, grab the water pump pulley with both hands, then push one side pull the other, then back and fourth, if you feel play, the pump is bad.

Would I have to take the belt off to test it?
