So my dad and I just finished installing the Wizaired CAI and I still hear no whine. Does anyone have any clue why this is? I mainly bought the CAI for the sound so I'm pretty frustrated right now haha. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Sorry for not being specific. I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP so it is supercharged. Would it possibly help if I took the lid of the box off?
more then likely you'll hear it more.
but if you take the cover off then you are defeating the purpose of it. its made to keep the hot air out of the intake, so its still drawing through that 4 inch hole on the side of it, where its getting much cooler air vs whats under the hood.
if your stock having that box dont really add up to much. no hp to be gained, just looks cool. you could maybe send it back and make your own intake for about 40 bucks. its what most of us do. and you can hear it whine like mad.
where in NJ are ya?
Do something like this for whine, I'v seen people use the stock tube or use I think its like a 45 degree plumbing fitting or something. I don't know much but, I would imagine it wouldn't matter if it was a CAI or HAI because the supercharger is still going to heat the air up.

I'm on the East Coast. Right around Toms River; I'm 15 minutes away from Seaside. I am also planning on modding my car more. As of now I have a 3" downpipe, u bend delete, front powerlog, and of course....the Wizaired. I hope to drop my pulley size and get a tune in the next month or two. What really confuses me is watching Wizaired CAI videos on YouTube and everyone's whine is as loud as the next.
Can't you still hear the whine even with the stock airbox just a tad? With the Wizaired CAI you should definitely hear it. I'm pretty sure a couple others have it around here and it makes a difference, there are no baffles in it.
@02NavyBlue exactly! The only thing that I could imagine that would hinder the whine sound is the duct not being secured onto the throttle body or filter...but it is!
You should be able to hear the S/C whine bone stock. with any sort of intake it should be clearly audible. My guess is your rotors aren't sealing well (coating has flaked off) and thus you're not compressing much air.
Mine had some whine even with the stock airbox after SRI it was really loud even with stock pulley and stock exhaust
I didn't hear the supercharger much with stock airbox and the stock boost gauge shows boost too.
under the blower you can see the rotors if they are coated still. if clean and shinny the coating is gone.
is the boost gauge showing boost? you know the lego blocks.
