^ No need to dig into the internals unless you're going to be doing an all out build.

Though you will need to dig into the transmission internals to be able to run a turbo setup reliably.

61mm on my 97. Cars will run just fine as its pointless to build the bottom end IMO.

Triple edge performance of the only trans you should look at

Oh its doable, but how much power are you wanting to put down? A T67 is a pretty decent size turbo for the wbody's.

ZZP made over 900whp on a stock bottom end. The 3800 is a bullet proof motor.

If that is all you are wanting why bother going turbo? You would be better off going/staying supercharged.

im not supercharged, i have a N/A 3800 seires 3. thought abt doing the eton charger but my tech was saying that a top swap was no good. but what i really want is more tourque and a little more hp, but still not going up past the original 3.8l. @ adeker yeah i seen some nyce 3800s on zzp & youtube but im just tring too put this car to where it should be in the powerband without going too crazy with the $

if you dont want to go past the stock HP why do a thing, save your money. a turbo aint cheap. over a grand easy. a top swap which is good. (your tech knows nothing) can run around 600 with all the gaskets and parts. (with smart shopping) then theres the tranny blowing up, its the torque that kills not the HP.

i do want too go past stock hp, proby 250-300,its a daly driver for now, so thefule consumption is major factor y i was thinking turbo.i've seen turbos going for like 700 im willing too spend that. i also know abut the trans i replaced 3 so far , long story auto warrentys are bullsht. but what trans are you running? did you replace the whole trans or just the diff and upgraded 4th grears?

the gt trans will hold up if you drive it like a adult and dont flog it daily. you'll want the HD trans or at least swap in the HD differential.

is that 700 for just the turbo? or for everything you need make it run on your car? cause theres a lot of stuff little stuff involved. and it all adds up fast.

im not sh itting on turbo's, they just cost a lot. unless you do some real thrifty shopping of used parts. a few members are selling full turbo set ups for around 2 grand or more.

There is no way you have found a turbo kit for $700. You do realize you can't just bolt a turbo on the stock exhaust and be done right?

Don't turbo your daily driver... **** happens, and parts break. Get another car to daily. Hondas are cheap these days.

i didntnt say turbo kit, i said i found a turbo for $700 its on zzp site, bullseye turbo,i would have to buy a intercooler and wastegate and headers and all the rest. but it allmost works out to be the same price as the supercharger 1599.but i tried to buy the supercharger from zz and they said i couldt tune my computer so they didnt sell me the charger so im not going to be doing either.
